Summer colds are usually caused by the drastic temperature transitions between inside and outside. It's cold inside, and when I step out in the heat sometimes I start sneezing.

i caught a cold recently too, but i'm feeling a little better now. it started right after i took a laced drink my friend set me up on. he laced it with a 8 year old E&J that was open but never used. so i got sick right after i downed my supposedly soda. hope you get better, i know it's not cool to get sick in the summer. can't do this and that. : \

A cold is a virus. The climate you're in has little to do with it, people themselves just tend to be more susceptible if their body is weakned from adjusting to different weather etc.

I have yet to catch a cold in the winter...

seriously...i get colds all the time in the summer. take vitamins and fish oil concentrate. will help against getting sick....or just eat fruit, mainly a lot of oranges. will also help. for immediate relief i say, a combo of robitussin, tylenol, and riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa .
