Are there any reputable shops in Norcal who are good with KA rebuilds? Im approaching 200k on my 97 and would like to get a full rebuild.

^^^ thanks, any idea how much they charge? I forgot to mention; Im not going for a highly modified rebuild but just something back to stock specs.

its gonna cost you 4 digits at a shop no matter where you go. I've asked around a number of places, it'll be around 1300 or more

you consider just swapping with a younger ka?

I have a spare KA from a '95 w/ about 110k on it. let me kno if ur interested, im tryin to get rid of it. this way u can have a spare block to work on
