all you need is the coils but if you go low then camber arms if you dont care about tire wear if not nothing really

No they werent 40 bucks but still cheap, do they even have 40 dollar ones and will those even work?

typically coilovers will come with installation instructions...but it wouldnt hurt if you told us exactly what brand of cheap coilovers you actually got...

If it's a true coilover, it will replace your entire spring/ strut assembly. If that's the case it should just bolt on. If it's some kind of ghetto fabulous adjustable lowering spring, it's probably a waste of time, and possibly unsafe to use on your car. But, in that case you'd need to take apart the stock struts, and replace the spring with yours.

its not even worth it to put those cheap things on your car. Buy real coilovers or at least a real set of springs.

You don't need a double height adjustable setup if the strut housing has the right dimensions to start with. The only thing I'd be wary of is those cheap ebay collars/perches using very cheap aluminum. I've seen some Chinese knock-offs that started bending in short order where they contacted the spring perch due to the aluminum being soft.

yeah you pretty much just wasted 40 buck those perches are known to bend/ crack.
