the rev limit is not 8000. its about 6900rpm

No its 7000 actually. I was referring to the fact it has the potential to do that, unlike s1 and s2 heads.

Edit Is your tranny really loud X? Mine makes that pretty good semi grind noise when you are starting out or slowing down at low speeds. I know twin disks are loud but ive never driven one to compare.
