In about a month or 2 i am planning on buying a '95 240sx........'95 due to the fact that there are no emissions in chicago to a car that is 95 or older....but thats besides the point. When i do get it im planning on doing one of the following things and price is not going to be an issue or labor......prices wise ill save as long as it takes and labor wise ill do it all by myself because im a mechanic. I was wondering what swap is better/reliable/faster for the 240? the 2JZ swap or the RB26 swap? like i said i dont care abiout the price because money wont be an issue....so once again just looking for opinions :)
Thanks
Dave

Seriously?
Have you searched around at all, to see the pro's and con's of either swap? or the supporting mods for either engine?
This is just me, but Nissan should stay Nissan. There should be no love child between the two companies.

Why would our opinion matter? If you do some search, you can find "opinions." Go to google, search and you should have answers as far as what each engines capable of.
You asked about whats better/reliable/faster for a 240? Everybody's opinion will be different and on top of that, not everybody will get the same results.
Whats better, RB or 2J? Shit, that gotta come down to personal preference. Both engines capable of making alot of HP on the hands of the right people. 600hp is cake walk for both engines.
Faster? Wouldnt that shit come down on the driver? If they make the same HP, then who gives a fuck. Either way, making anything more 500hp on an S-chassis is retarded...why? Traction, you have none...have fun hooking up, thats why driver would matter...
Reliable? Reliability will come down on how good of a fucking mechanic you are. If you have no fucking clue about either engine, you're already behind the power curve...

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

This Thread is closed due to lack of research.
:lockd:
Leaving this open for opinions, will just see it spiral further downward.
Not gonna happen.
