Ok so heres the problem.. I have a 240sx ka24de. I was out joyriding today and out of NOWHERE my car dies.. And it won't even TURN over.. I know its not the starter thats fucked up because WHILE I was driving it died and THEN wouldn't turn back over. I'm pretty sure its not my alternator because nothing dimmed and it wasn't over a period of time it was sudden. I know its not the battery because I tried to jump it, and it STILL wouldn't turn over.... I know its nothing lodged in the flywheel because I tried to push start it and it grabbed, just wouldn't start. I think its something electrical but have no clue what. Before it happened I notcied my brake light (emergency brake) would flicker and flash as I drove during different random times. Now my cluster won't light up, my radio won't come on, and it won't turn over. BUT my open door ding still comes on when the doors open with the key in, my head lights still work, my blinkers and harzard lights still work, but my seats belts don't retract.. I don't know WHAT to think.

Have you tried push starting your car?
I would say it sounds like it's your starter relay, but even if it was bad, it shouldn't turn off while you're driving.
Check your ALT connections.

Sounds like an alternator problem.
Check the connections as mentioned above^
try checking your fuse kick pannel next to your left leg under the steering column.
Make sure that all the fuses there aren't blown.

UPDATE... Ok its none of the above.. I think its something ignotion switch? The actual spot you put the key.. Because I can't even put my windows up!! Basicly I4 can't put my car in the RUN position, so my car wasn't getting gas so it died... So I'm guessing the on position wasn't registering.. So I THINK I need to replace the switch?..

^I doubt it would be your ignition switch.
try checking your battery terminals. make sure they are tight. and grounded properly and free of corrosion

There were two wires that come from the relay box that connected to the positive terminal on the battery came lose on my car causing it not to start and seem completly dead. I fixed the bad connection at the positve terminal and all was well. Maybe that could be it?
Like downshift said, check your battery terminals.

does your car crank? could be your fuel pump or one of your relays goin out
when you turn your key to the ON position, listen for the pump priming

No.. When my car is in the ON position, NOTHING that should work works when its in the on position. The fuel pump does not kick on, my windows will not roll up, my window will not roll up, my radio will not turn on, and the starter won't turn on.

Sounds like a dead battery.

Still sounds like it's your alt.
It's not charging the battery, so your battery doesn't have enough power to power the car.
My alt connection started to loosen it's self from the positive terminal and my car started to die.

If I didn't have ANY power, my headlights, inside lights, and hazzard lights wouldn't work.

I'm having a similar issue, although on an S14 SR20. It started fine Monday night, then tuesday it wouldn't start, but everything electrical (radio, lights, power fc controller) worked fine. Just wouldn't turn over.
I hooked my 110v jump box to the battery in the back, and after 2 key turns, it fired right up. Test the battery with my meter, getting 14.3v (said this on the power fc as well). However I ntoiced when my altima fans fired up, the interior lights dimmed, the rpms dropped, and my oil pressure gauge went all screwy (which has been an issue for a couple weeks, just never pinpointed an exact time when it started going nuts).
Tonight, same thing: wouldn't start. Hook the jump box up, still won't start. So I take a breaker bar, and smack the starter. Fires up, but same weird electrical things with the fans and gauge. Turn it off, try to restart, nothing. Tried smacking the starter, nothing.
I really have no idea what's going on, because the car has been running flawlessly (with the exception of the gauge screwing up and saying I had 0psi of pressure which wasn't the case at all).

check your SMJ (the two connectors on the positive terminal) also check your 75A/100A fuse.

where do I have a 75 & 100A fuse? Besides the alternator? I have a highoutput alternator on a seperate circuit with 200A fuse. Its not blown.

this may sound silly but have you checked your battery voltage? it could be your alt and if your battery has lots of loss you know for sure
