i have oem 17 350Z wheels 7.5 front 8 rear. which size of advan tire better fits my wheel's from this 2 size's?
235/40R17
or
255/40R17
dont know much bout tire's.

a 255 on both 7.5 and 8 is too big. the hightest you should go on 8" is 245, and that's max.
i have the same rims and i'm running 225 up front (7.5"), 235 in the rear (8").

ok so 235 on the rear would be good then. can i run 235 on the front? its cuz im getting a deal on some advan A048's

there's this nifty tire calculator that you can look online and see how far off you are from stock specs

you could have at least posted the calculator istead of just saying it existed. but this only tells you how much your speedo will be off basically.
i think the 225/235 is a good choice for those wheels.

i actually don't know what the site is, but googling it comes up with alot of results, the one i remember using was from some miata site, but alot of them say the same thing...

do you have coils or are you really low?
i suggset you do 225 front. a 245 in the rear would be nice and meaty. it'll be better if you get a smaller sidwall like a 45. but 235 fits PERFECT on the 8"

so on 8" wide rims can hold that 225 front and 245 without a prob?
i have a 15x8 rims and ive been searching what size of the tires i can use.
