Just got my exhaust!!! HKS mmmmm...

I just got the HKS Hi-Power cat back exhaust system and i must say its awsome!!!The sound is the best i've heard on a 4 banger. Its nice and deep, not a bit ricey. It gets real bad ass when you punch it. The car pics up a lot better through 1st and 2nd. I love it.

If anybody else has it, does it get any louder or quiter with time? How much HP did you gain? I'm estimating around 8-10 hp. yes? no?

p.s. if i can get a hold of my friends digital camera, i'll take some pics.

HP is more like 2-4, u probably lost some torque. and yes, it gets louder when the actual muffler breaks in. not ricey tho, i wouldnt worry too much..it actually sounds more throaty when it breaks in.

but the piping is only 2.25 inches. How did i lose torque? I thought 2.25 inches was the optimal size for piping on a N/A car.....

yeah i definately gets louder when its broken in. It still sounds really good, but when it gets really hot, it is super deep and loud. Thats the only thing i didnt like about the hiper. Other than that its an awesome exhaust.
