Yeah it uses Nissan Maxima pads. The pads on the breaks are still good. If you want to buy new rotors, the maxima ones will fit too, but they aren't 4-lug. Hope this helps. Also, I believe Adey has this set-up on his 240sx. I'll PM to confirm. If you have any more questions, go ahead and e-mail me at

yes, I have these brakes... yes, if they're the chuki ('91 - '94) 180sx front brakes, they're larger than USDM 240sx. If they're off a zenki (i.e. 1988 - 1990) 180sx though, I think they're same size as USDM 240sx. Kouki/Type-X 180sx brakes should be same size as Chuki brakes... i.e. slightly larger single-piston caliper, and slightly larger rotors. I don't have measurements off the top of my head, although someone on FA recently (past month) posted that info.
Stock steel/alloy wheels will clear these.

I'll take pictures of the 180sx rotors and stock 240sx rotors asap and show you. The brakes are good, the pads on them have lots of life left. The rotors are somewhat rusted because they were sitting around and need to be resurfaced. If you would like to replace the rotors, you need to find Maxima rotors and drill extra holes for the four lug set up. It's an easy upgrade. By the way, you pay shipping. We can possibly work something out, half and half.

You would take it to a machine shop to drill if you got new rotors and no it shouldn't weaken it. The rotors I am selling are already four lug pattern.

Thanks for the offer Kandyflip445. I think it would cost me more to get the rotors to you to resurface than getting it done local. I appreciate the offer. :D

Yeah no prob. The calipers don't look much different than stock but a little bigger and the pads match the rotor size. I'll take pictures later today.
