My sr idles at 300 rpm.. Won't rev for shit. if i try and rev it At a certain point it just stops trying to rev.. I've check the timing multiple times. Using fr's guides and enthalapy guides.. Exhaust cam counted 8 teeth from sprocket mark clockwise to head.. intake cam 5 teeth counter clock wise from sprocket mark to head.. Counted 20 Pins from Intake sprocket dot to exhaust sprocket dot... 10 chain links... Checked up on fr's cas timing guide and it is perfect... Have no clue why it's not working properly... Changed out fuel rail and injectors cause #1 injector was spitting backwards.. So i changed those out and i know these work perfectly coming from my other Sr. Have no clue what else to do!!

sounds like it's either not running on all cylinders or your base timing is way off.. Or a problem with your MAF, or a big boost/vac leak. Could be lots of stuff, you need to check the basics. Spark/fuel on all cylinders, vac leak test, base timing, etc..

Forgot to mention.. No boost leaks or vac leaks.. Base timing fill me in on ur knowlege.. Im checking to see if all cylinders are getting spark right now.. As for the fule im 100% sure all 4 injectors are firing.. It does seem like it's not running on all cylinders as it's doing the same thing my last sr did when a rocker arm broke. I checked all rocker arms and they are aligned properly not missing any shimmy's. Check all ground(Acutally just re-did a ground and now it actually can rev just revs like crap and slowly but still idles like shit

Im thinking maybe my cas is bad.. Im pretty sure it's not the maf cause i've had lots of mad problems and it's never done this..

Do you have another known working MAF you can check and eliminate that as the problem?
Maybe someone could loan you one real quick to test?

Hmm yea i think ill call up a friend so i can borrow his.. Wouldn't hurt to do so. I was pulling out the coil packs and i noticed #3 and #2 plugs were full of oil.. It happened to #4 also but that was because the valve cover wasn't tight.. Now it's full tightnd down... I can see the oil when i look down in the valve cover.. It could be just the valve cover seals but it could also be the crap what are those seals called? Valve stem seals?

Ok i fixed one problem.. It was a spark problem caused by the ground wire on the coil pack harness that was twisted off.. Now the car starts at all times. idles at 800 now instead of 300.. But it's not steady at all and it goes down sometimes.. Still trying to figure out what it is. Im going to buy new plugs today and see if that helps any

Ok changed out the whole harness and now it is alot better at start up.. It does the actual cold start and idles at like 1600 rpm... Only for a short amount of time then it wants to die and eventually will die. Still haven't changed out the plugs yet or the maf.. Hopefully this will help it! When it starts to die i could smash the gas pedal to the ground and it wont help at all
