I am shaving my antenna off of my s13 when it goes in the body shop this week. I was wondering what other options that I have to replace it. I was thinking about the dakota digital amplified antenna. It is hidden and am/fm tuned. There are a few others but they are not amplified. My stock antenna mast is broken anyways. I am sure that any other antenna would do better than mine! I just need input

Because they have two antennas iirc. The second one is in the window above the defroster lines. I dont know how good your reception will be. If it sucks just go to ebay and get the one that sticks to your window. Mount it behind the rear view mirror.

I use the amplified antenna available from Circuit City. It's not listed in their catalogue. It's just something that the car audio guys use for custom installations.
It works very well for me.
The glass antenna is crap and won't work very well without the rod antenna.

I usually take the rod antenna off and then wedge it up into the Cpillar, into the roof. You won't get much AM without it grounded but that's not a loss IMO.

this is great, alot of good ideas for those with busted antennas, stuffing it inside a pillar is great, much better than mine being stuck in the up position all the time like a rc car
