Type in hid and search in chat, it has a bunch of info.
check the group buys and PM them.
PM this guy:
1) If its made overseas, stay away.
2) If you see blue-coated bulbs, stay away.
3) If its too cheap in price, stay away.
4) If it looks like Johnny-5 robot, stay away.
5) If n00bs on Zilvia tell you to buy it, stay away.
and last but not least, if people own H4 headlamps (Hella, Bosch, or Cibie) and install rebased HID retrofit kits -- stay the fuck away.
Pretty much, you should stay away from just about anyone on Zilvia, except me, russ, thatguy, kevin, lisa, and a very very short list of others. Though, most premium members tend to be good people.. but still, use caution.

Yeah, I wouldn't even pull up the clearcorners website unless you plan on spending some change. They really have some hott products thought.

Yeah, fliprayzin240sx. I've heard that too! I think the H4 housings are only like $25 bucks a peice or something like that and then you just have to buy a hid kit.

Fuck that, just spray paint your bulbs blue and call it a day.
The only real way to get legit HID's in a 240 headlight housing is to use the projectors from a factory equiped vehicle with HID's and retro fit them into your housings. Don't just buy H4 HID's to put in your current housing. The cutoff on them isn't right and you will be blinding drivers coming towards you, plus the performance won't be the best.

That's like asking a heroin addicted prostitute to remove a bullet from your stomach.
Nothing against you, but there's a reason why NICO is NICO.... :)

Get the ebay housings and a cheap hid kit. Aim a little low. Works fine and is way more light than you will ever get of just a halogen bulb.
I don't understand why everyone has a hard-on for "doing it right" and retrofitting some oem projector into a housing- who cares?

Because having shitty light output, horrid cutoff, and blinding oncoming drivers is a concern for some people. For others, obviously not. I subscribe to the school of not halfassing things even if it's the new trend or the cool thing to do.

Haha people talk about drop-in HID kits as if they're causing accidents left and right. I have yet to hear of a wreck caused by them, and even then, I'm pretty sure the number of accidents prevented by having better visibility and being visible to others outnumbers any accidents caused.
The truth is, I used to have Sylvania Silverstar sealed beams, and people would flash their brights at me constantly for blinding them. Then I switched to Autopal housings, an Ebay drop-in HID kit, I can see way better, and I have yet to have someone flash their brights at me.
