Hi ,

I just win some new hot shot headers for mi ka24 97 on ebay , but I just read on some pages on the web that in the automatic(cause mine is) will slow U down I know that it sounds kind stupid but I was wondering if you can give your advise on this one . when I bought my car it had 3" all the pipes just the headers was stock ... is this gonna have a bad result with the HOT SHOT ????

tnks in advance !

i really doubt it... i have dc sports 4-2-1 headers... if anything it gives the motor a nicer tone, revs a lot easier and pulls harder on the top end... and my cars an automatic as well.

add a transmission fluid cooler it will vastly improve the life of your atou tranny

adding a transmission cooler will add life and longevity, not performance..

you can look into better, more aggressive torque converters that can handle more horsepower...errr i mean torque.

you can put washers or some kinda spacer in the accumulators, its will make the car shift harder, you can also put plastic check valves and it will hold more pressure, but on the down side you will have to replace them more often.

the plastic gives a better seal (teflon whatever)

you can also do a 5 speed swap and get rid of that KA, that will improve your performance.

goddamnit.

Are you sure it's a hotshot or a knock off? Hotshot closed down well over a year ago.

haha, i wouldn't bother doing all those things those guys said =P seems like to much hassle for minuscule amounts of performance. just keep it simple and easy, you'll be much happier. i got intake, headers, hi-flow cat, and an exhaust, car pulls pretty good to me.. feels the same as an honda s2k if u ask me... but, more torquey down low.... maybe get an "lightened pulley" that'll help get things going... if you don't track your car or anything you probably don't need more then basic bolt-on's to have a fun car to drive in. i can honestly say after i did all these mods i'm happy with my cars performance... but, what i wanted to do was get rid of the hesitation the ka has... so, i did that and i'm happy =D, then again i never paid retail for any of it, so it was somewhat worth it hehe.

or you can put this item number 160254673785 , I bought the cause I hear that those where one of the best headers for the ka24de .
