I'm assuming you mean for a KA24DE.... Carb legal parts for a SR20DET would be kind of.... what's the word? :P

I believe the only street legal parts are maybe a intake (AEM) and exhaust. I think the DC header is for s13 only, only because all the ones I've seen say 91-94.

For S14

aem intake
injen intake
JWT popcharger ( I think correct me if I am wrong )

I do not know of any carb legal headers for S14's cause I think DC headers for S14 are carb pending.

what about a vq35de into a 240sx? YouTube - VQ35DE Motor with Z-Fever tuned ecu. Standalone run, all security bypassed. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtcCPtLBXvI&NR=1)

NO! IT IS NOT LEGAL in CA

cut & paste from my old DC header FS thread.

---

Stickers might work in many states but ca requires aftermarkets parts to fit in exact OEM location without moving the cat or O2 sensor (http://zilvia.net/f/#) location and plate fixed in a visible location on the part. So this throws any long tube header with the 1st O2 sensor in stock location out the door because the 1st O2 sensor on OEM is after all exhaust runners have merged. Long tube headers, including DC Sports, have only 2 primary tubes connected to the 1st O2 sensor (others only 1 tube) in the stock location.

S13 "DE" Reasons DC is NOT Legal

1st O2 sensor does not sample (connect) from all primary tubes.
No CARB E.O. number stamped or plate tacked on header.

S14 "DE" Reasons DC is NOT Legal

1st O2 sensor does not sample (connect) from all primary tubes.
1st or Primary Cat is removed with the NHR4205 header
No CARB E.O. number stamped or plate tacked on header.

LET NO ONE OR SITE FOOL YOU. DC HEADERS ARE NOT 100% STREET LEGAL IN CA ON ANY 240SX.

Most "Race Headers" are not. Honda DC headers are mostly leagal because they almost all use shorty style (http://zilvia.net/f/#) headers. They also merge into 1 collector prior to the 1st O2 sensor or have the O2 on 1 or 2 tubes from factory which make it easier for race headers to be legal.

Does any one know if you get a carb sticker with DC headers?

The old Greddy header was carb legal because it didn't delete the catalytic converter. It also made like 1hp.
