View Full Version : Hooks Up On Pressing New Bushing In?

like the title say. any hook ups or good shops can give u a good deal pressing new bushings in for suspensions? i already got a quote on one shop for 8 bushings needs to be press and they gave me $200 altogether.

i dont think its a reasonable price. you think?

i personally think .. 200 might be good.. for my z31 i have a polybushing kit for everything on my car already. im taking it to JRX to do it and im ready to pay around 300 or so just for that. bushings are always different it might be real easy to pop out or it might be rusted in. the real betch ones are the subframe bushings

it may cost more if the arms/links are still on the car.

go to Harbor Frieght and buy a press and do it your self. thats what i did.

12 ton shop press 139.99

i told him im going to bring my tension rod. traction rod and lower control arm to him then he's charging me $200. id rather buy the press and do it myself..LOL fuck dat

also, the new es bushing kit has a 3pc bushing for the tension rod. you can do that yourself. no press needed
