Is this on the actual track or is this in the parking lot?

I think at SIR they drive the parking lot.

Bring LOTS of tires because the lot is like driving on the moon, from what I've heard.

After talking with Naoki from Drift Day we have decided to go ahead and lower the entry fees. As you can see above, if you are a driver residing out of the state of AZ we have lowered your entry fee to $150. If you are residing in AZ the driver entry is $175. We hope to try to offset some of the cost of traveling for everyone.
As far as the condition of the lot is concerned. The lot is 726,000 sq ft. The pavement is a little rough so expect to burn through some tires. We will have on site tire mounting which is usually a charge of about $10 per tire.
Tech is basic tech..though we would like to see SA rated helmets instead of the MA helmets some people use. Convertibles..you will need a roll bar if your car is not equipped with a cage.
The question of how many practice runs has come up on other forums so lets go ahead and address that. Depending on the amount of drivers we are looking at around 5-6 runs for practice and 3 qualifying runs.
I have received a lot of question about the East Coast Nationals. There will be a West Coast Nationals as well as the East Coast Nationals. The exact location for West Coast Nationals has yet to be announced...expect it to be a good central location between the west coast states.

The amount of practice question comes up alot.

The problem is, it doesnt matter. This is to be a pro. So 1 practice or 20. You have to handle your bidnesss
