I got pulled over again last night... I did nothing... The cop asks me how fast I was going (I was going 28 mph in a 25, as a worst case.. but it was for sure 25-28 mph)

Dumbass West Lafayette, IN cop says "looks like you were going much faster... I think you were... how fast were you really going?"

I started to argue... I finally said "What the hell did your radar say?!"  of course, he wasn't using one...

Doesn't pay to drive nicely and shift at 3k... from now on, I'm driving like an asshole...


No ticket this time...
Ever since I got the 97, this happens a lot. . haha

Hmmm, I have been pulled over for so much crap that it is possible that I was pulled over for something like that before (at least the cop never told me that directly, but I have been pulled over for speeding a few times, hell I have even been pulled over a couple times while my car was STOPPED).  All in all, myself and 3 of my friends combined have been pulled over somewhere in the range of 70-100 times all together.  One friend is easily over 40 times by himself.  Cops are alright as long as you know how to deal with them.  HEHE, we used to make a game of seeing how long it would take to get pulled over, well it gave us something to do for the night.  My friend got pulled over on the FIRST night of owning his new Twin Turbo 300zx.  I have been in his car with him multiple times when he was pulled over.  One of my other friends I have been in his car 3 times while he has been pulled over (once after doing almost 140 mph in his GS-R, and the other two times were within 5 minutes of each other).:devil:

I didn't do anything stupid, which is why I was shocked when that turd turned his lights on. &nbsp;It was more fun before my grandpa died. . Not that there was any ACTUAL power there, but cops get off on anything they perceive as power, ya know. . .

i had a cop in a suburban pull me over. i was doing 72 in a 60. he said son, i saw you on the high side of 80 all the way from (i forgot the street and it doesn't matter). but i was never on the street, and the street doesn't even intersect with the highway. he said he was having trouble keeping up with me.

turns out, the cop didn't have a radar, he was driving an official police vehicle that had offroad tires which throws off the speedometer. i also had my cruise control on so when i'd go up a hill, instead of slowing down like a torqueless POS car, i keep up the same speed, so it appears i'm going faster than i'm really going.

he kept saying, ohh you thought i was fire cheif in a suburban, but NO, i'm a real cop and you people need to realize this. i'm on the police force as any officer is. i just said, sir i didn't even see you so i don't know what you are talking about and i'm sure you are a police officer. he told me to go home and drive safely, because he knew he was wrong.

My past with the law even short has been filled with crap. My first ticket was when I was driving my Volvo 740 SW and was in this little town of who knows where but I was driving behind this cop for about 5 minutes and I say he was speeding like 60 in 50 zone and I had to keep up with him because there was a big 18 wheeler so Im going behind him and we stop at the first light and all of a sudden he stops his cars puts on his lights and comes over and asks how fast I was going. I was like 45 when I was in turn going like 55 but he said he caught me going 64 which was bs because how can you clock a car like that. He went and run my numbers and whatever they do that takes them 30 minutes. than he said son drivers like you are a problem in these parts and crap like that, but ill let you go. so i was like f you and drove off. My second incident was that I got tagged going about 55 in a 50 zone (PWCops Suck ass) even though two shestty Hondas with GTR symbols were racing in front of me. But that got dismissed. But the worst is my parents have an Excursion and i was drivnin it for something I dont remeber. This is tank but I was pulling out of BK on Sat night. Thats where all the "street racers" hang out and go "dragging" but the cop was across the four way and I was pulling out and I saw him with his gun so i was driving 5 under and I got about 10 secs from the corner and the cop turns his lights on. Im like not me maybe some rice boy but he pulls me over for going 37 mph around the corner. I didnt want to ? him but I was like okay whatever. I went to court and talked to the judge who is actually a family friend that goes to my church and he owns an Xcursion so he dismissed the case and order the cop to recert in radar gun. I know this is a long as$ post but I had to do it.

i been pulled over probably around 20 times, yet i have no tickets on record to show for it, lucky me.

the best ever was when i had just gotten my liscense (16), and was driving to a friends house around 2am on a friday, in my 91 Chevy Lumina.

i wasn't speeding, no drinking, no nothing, so i asked the cop, can i ask why you pulled me over?

i got pulled over for down shifting around an unmarked police car but he let me go without a ticket cuz it was my first time getting pulled over...then some prick followed me home because i didnt have my front license plate on...i live in NJ where a front plate is mandatory, but the car looks so much nicer without it....but i still cant believe he followed me home...gggrrrrrr!

Nah, it's not true... Whenever I dress in drag and go cruising, they usually just ask me a DIFFERENT set of questions when I get pulled over.. such as "do you have a penis?" etc. . bla bla. .

well let me see. after getting pulled up alongside and being told to slow down by LAPD . They finally actually stopped me in my own neighborhood doing 55 in a 35. Ok I was feeling feisty. Cop followed me all the way into our parking lot never saw . He never turned on his lights . I like parked got out and they were standing there. Traffic school for that one. hehehehe
Then a week later I am on the 110 and this traffic officer out of south central decides he needs to make his quota. I was in the carpool lane with my friend shes a USC law student. So I wanted to cross out . I waited till the double yellow was broken so you could. There was a car right next to me at the last possible moment to leave the car got out of my way and I exited. So this cop is like in the number one lane 5 car lengths back. He likes accelerates up behind me and I am just cruising along with traffice not speeding and he pulls me over. Tells me I crossed out of the carpool lane illegally.
So I take to court. At the trial cop shows up and completely changes his story. Gets the color of my car wrong (blue instead of black and he calls in a 91 200sx hahahaha) then he tells the judge I crossed out 200ft to early and I am like WTF! So I cross examine him , Give the judge my side and the judge rules in favor of the cop in less than 5 minutes.:mad:
the trial was tues morning so I am still a little burnt about the whole thing.
so not only did I pay a fine I have a point on my record now for something I did not even do.

the area that i live in is really stupid when it comes to cops. They will pull you over for doing 51 in a 50, just so they can run drug dogs around your car. At the time i was driving my sisters 92 Camry cuz my car wasnt available to drive at the time. Well, anyways, i was drivin on a 4 lane road infront of our neighborhood's entrance and i drove by doing 50 cuz im not stupid enough to speed in this area and the size of our city is small, its a small suburban town so i dont have to put up with it for that long. Well theres a cop ahead and hes doing like 45 or less, and i put on my cruise control so i wont be pulled over and pass him doing 50. Next thing i know he has his lights turned on. At this point im extremely pissed cuz i think hes gonna write me up for doing 52 or something. I pull over and the first thing he says is "You can go ahead and turn off your brights now" Phew... i was soo relieved, the lights in my sisters camry suck and i didnt notice they were on. I just came back from buying my xbox at walmart on opening night at 12:01 and i told him and we talked about the PS2 and the xbox for like 5 minutes and told me there wont be a written warning and to be careful about who you pass with your brights on. i was off and extremely happy. That is the only time that ive been pulled over but there have been other close ones (115 in a 60) :D

Yeah, I was just driving a bit ago... and, on my way back here, I see a cop whip around this corner behind me and start hauling ass. . In the same area I got pulled over that caused this thread in the first place... So, I was like "jeezus christ what now"

But.. I got lucky. Thing is, now I'm worried all the time because as it turns out, you don't have to do **** to get pulled over.

My best friend and I got pulled over 12 times in one weekend. We didn't get a single ticket either. haha. We got pulled over starting friday at lunch when we were going to eat for going a little to fast and after school because the cop thought we stoll the car. ( i guess it looked strange for 2 seniors in high school to be driving around in a 2001 BMW haha) Got pulled over a cuple of times after that for the same thing in different cities and for speeding a little bit. 45 in a 40 55 in a 50. Just a bunch of bs stuff.

They can pull you over for 1 mph over the limit, and even ticket you for it, if they're bastards.

Most of the time, they won't write you a ticket or anything. . or stop you, for that matter.. for going 5 over. On the interstate, normally 10-15 over is no biggy either. Around here, I can easily go 80 mph, often 85 mph and NO worries at all.

The reason they normally pull you over for going slightly over the limit is to check to see if you're drunk, or have your belt on, etc. Which is what I thought that jackass pulled ME over for, but... no. He was just there to be a cocksucker, like the rest of his department.

around here, you can be going 10-15 over and get passed by a cop doing at least 25 over... the only time i had trouble was when i pulled a u-turn in a school zone right in front of a cop.. she just rolled down her window and told me to slow down.

Yeah... and the last couple times I've been driving through TN, the cops sit there with their parking lights on at night!!!! You can see them from two miles away. Very considerate of them. Indiana State Police switched their cars back to the original black, with NO reflective markings. Those bitches can hide anywhere now.

I got caught once drag racing my friend i a huge parking lot. Just got finished wit the race and a patrol car pulled in with his lights on. Almost spent the night in jail but he let me and my frieng go with a ticket for UNNECSSARY NOISE. Then just a couple of warnings for peeding and no front plate.

That sucks! I live in Australia and they have introduced zero tolerance. So ANYTHING over the limit is a fine and perhaps a suspension. The stupid thing is that the law here states that speedometers in newly made cars don't have to be exact, but can be 5kmh off the actual speed! It's just soooooo f*cked up!:mad:
