As stated the A/C won't turn off on my car. With only the blower on and set to 1, or any setting, I can still feel cold air coming out. If I do turn on the a/c the idle does go up a bit, and also if the A/C is turned off the idle goes down slightly. Any ideas?

does the compressor kick on and off when you push the button?
my car always has a draft through the vents being heat or ac on or off. put it on fresh air it goes away.

Yea the compressor kicks in , hence the idle changing with the button. And I originally thought it just might be cool outside, until it was mid-day on a 90+ degree day and cold air was still coming out.

ok if the compressor is not on the AC is not on.
pop your hood, turn on the ac, go see if the center part of the compressor pulley is spinning, then turn it off and see if it stops.

Wiring has been done for over a year, it worked for thousands of miles and now its acting up.
Is there any way to fix a stuck clutch without replacing it?

The clutch pulley is fine on the car. Here is my issue.
95 s14 originally auto
s14 sr20det
sr ac compressor
car ran for 4k miles with perfect operating and cold as ice a/c.
recently the a/c compressor will not turn off when I turn off the a/c button on my manual climate control unit and the a/c is not nearly as cold as it was now....
when i turn the car off and the turbo timer kicks in the compressor kicks off
any ideas would be appreciated.
Kindly,

i came across this same problem , never really cared much about ac but starting to do...
mine is a JDM , so my steering side has the wires running through wheel well , and the inner liner is taken off so wires did rub at one point. My compressor did turn on and off by turning ac on and off inside. ( digital control ) but then after some long trips , i have to pull the relay out for the compressor and ac fan to turn off.... i am trying to locate a pinout of the digital climate control to run a new wire. Suppose when i hit the ac button it should give a 12+ lead to the relay to turn it on. It is wired good because in the power fc checking switch/and sensor i can hit ac it becomes a black dot turn it back off the dot is empty.

the idle slightly going down after the A/C is turned off is completely normal. It takes anywhere between 8lbs to 15lbs of force to drive an A/C compressor when turned on. A/C delete is not only a performance mod, but if you also adjust the heater core to relay the coolant flow back into the radiator you dont have to worry about warm air ever coming in. If its super hot outside, put down the windows.
