This is for all the Sr owners out there. do u guys make long distance trips with ur cars? i'm thinking about planning a trip from Wyoming to California next week in my car. not sure if it's a wise idea, because of the swap. It's about a 1,300 mile drive to California. If i do, what kinda things i should be worried about (common problems)? Any tips? What's the furthest you guys travelled with your car?

well i drove to atlanta and back this past weekend (actually just got home 300+ miles eachway plus driving all over town I put over a thousand miles on it this weekend). things to watch out for... gas... oil.... bugs on the windshield.... oh and Cops really watch out for them. seriously though. its a factory engine ITS NOT A BIG DEAL!!!!!!! theres nothing you have to watch out for on it that you wouldnt watch out for on ANY OTHER car you would drive on the trip. hell I drive mine from NC to Atlanta (5 hours) like everyother weekend! i was down there like every weekend in sept. and I dont have a water temp guage or an oil pressure guage. I check the oil when I get there and when I get home. its not a big deal

Yeah, unless something wasn't installed entirely correctly, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Like he said, it's a factory engine with the same reliabilty as the KA.
