Perhaps you should sell your car.
On a lighter note:
Download the FSM and read through the whole entire thing before you do anything to your car.
Search and ye shall find.
Fyi. If you search google it shows about 20 starters. Then go find that on your car.

Pop your hood. run around to passenger side fender and reach down towards the bellhousing of the tranny...If you cant find it from there than i suggest going to wal mart and buying a for sale sign and putting it up for sale ASAP!!!!

It's right under your intake manifold.. Jack your car up on the passanger side and it's right there in plain view..

Why don't you go sell your car.. He is asking a simple question. Everyone doesn't know about the cars they have.. That's why they have questions so that people can learn about things.. "Oh go sell your car cause u asked a question" Who cares..

Perhaps he shouldn't... It's a simple easy question.. No need to flame or tell him to sell his car.. Just answer it or don't say anything at all.. Keep it to your self..Who cares if he's a "noob" as u would call it.. Everyone doesn't start out knowing everything about their car..

If you stand by the front passanger fender, look down by the fuel filter, it should be left of that and on the motor/transmission. It points towards the alternator and has 2 wires that connect to it, one thin and one thick. The thinest is the ground.

wtf!?!? why did u make a second thread!!! u could of asked this in the other one u made!!!
jack the car up, fish your hand through the right suspension. the tube connected to your bell housing is your starter.
Also, if you need help with this, do not ever modify your car
Everyone doesn't start out knowing everything about their car..
Thats why they should get under their car and learn, or use google instead of clogging up a forum with ridiculous questions.

Someone lock this jeez... People have already tried explaining to you where it is, and you say "The alternator?" You weren't even going out a looking, just posting random crap saying "Sorry I'm annoying, blah blah blah" This thread isn't gonna help your case... Only reason I'm not neg repping you is cause I know it'll knock you down to 4 reds... jeez.

hey i think you might need some blinker fluid as well.
on the helpful side:
theres a lower harness right by the passenger side strut tower. trace it back and it should lead you by the tranny. its right there.

You're right. The point is he already had one thread, where people were already trying to tell him where it was, and he started another one. Then, when people told him, he didn't bother going outside to look. He said, and I quote
im not looking at my engine right now but are you talking about my alternator? thats the only big round thing i can think of thats by my oil filter.
He could at least go look for it after people tell him where it is. Or try to find an FSM diagram by searching.

dude, learn to fucking type correctly. Shit like that is impossible to read. And no, this place isn't here to hand hold everyone to help them find their fucking STARTER. normal people google it, then go look at their car. The only person getting butthurt is you.

yeah the point is that if he doesn't even know where it is, he probably will not be able to replace it. (on my DOHC i had to get a friend with small hands to hep take it off) and it also shows a very bad trend of asking the forums first without doing any research at all. sometime we are nice and give out mid to hard to find info, but this is basic shit. this and the alternator are comparable to someone asking how to change their oil or rotate their tires. if you have to ask you really should not have the car or should go and research on your own.

Start at the positive battery cable and start going back... When you get to this guy:

... you've arrived.
I am closing this thread before anyone else reminds the starter how dumb it is.
