Well I lost my rim lock key and I have to take my rims off to put my suspension on. (JIC FLT-A2 baby! ) Anyways, I was able to take one off by hammering with a flat head and then used pliers and came off. I dont think I torued this one too tight before, so it easily came off. The other locks are on TIGHT though. I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?? ahhh this sucks.

Hrmmm, This has been a fear of mine. I am always very careful about putting my wheel key back right after i use it. But I bet I will lose it one of these days.
I guess vice-grips might be worth a try...
anyone else?

Hey, here is what to do. Go to your nearest america's/discount tire store and ask for them to break all of your locks off. After you do that, ask for "spline Tuner" lug nuts. They are hard for wheel lock break kits to be useful on. They are a kind of lug nut you put on all of your studs. They are basically a circle with quarter inch grooves in them. Hard to explain. They look and work great. Not too spendy either. they are kind of like wheel locks but most tire shops carry a key for them. Here is a word from the wise, (i've worked at america's tire for some time now) Wheel locks suck. They are a waste of money. Wheel lock break kits are commercially sold. If someone wants your rims, they are going to get them. Wheel locks might deter the stupidest of criminals but not many.

well my dad owns a salvage yard and when they strip the cars and dont have the key for the lug nut they will just find a shitty socket that is about the same size, hit it on with a hammer(pretty much forcing it on there and hoping it stays)then they take it off...take the socket put in vise, hit lug nut out with a screw driver or something...isnt exactly the "right" way of doing it but it works and its free...oh yeah the lug nut is shit after that, but since we just strip the cars we dont need the lug nut...

Well this is what I exactly did before reading your relpy. Made a few calls and thats what I was told. I didn't need to use a vise though. I just wiggled it off while still on the hub bolts. Thanks anyways guys.
