While looking for dry carbon hoods google gave me this...
I know that the koeingsegg had those magnesium dish and carbon wheel combo (i forget the company its like 1000 or 2000$ a wheel).. but this is even lighter as pure dry carbon at 2lbs damn
yeah, the guy with the 200 mph CLK63 black edition has these... pimnp

lol im skeptical about it. what if the walls crack and tires deflate?! or spoke cracks and wheel fall apart?! jk. looks cool though.

Seeing as how it's in Japan... I'm gonna go ahead and say that is not in lbs. That's kg's. Canada also uses the "metric system." Still impressive though.
Prob a huge waste of money for little gains.

True that its 2.76kg I stand corrected which is 6lbs, none the less... cmon thats frickin lightweight
Unsprung 1lb weight is equivalent to like what 4lbs sprung? But is more drastic on acceleration, braking, handling response, than anything else it does matter. In the end no one is baller enough on here.
don't think it has anything to do with ballerism, as useless on anything but a pure bred race vehicle. Lemme see if I can find that thread on the mercedes... you'll shit
well, they are the carbon/mag, but still

These are 100% dry carbon not carbon/mag like the koeingsegg ones
I'd take the carbon/mag ones as long as they're attached to this car...

Yeah that test was so flawed. lets drill out a wheel and show how it sucks now.
Are those pics of the carbon wheel from TAS?

There was a BMW M3 at a car show up here a little while ago that had these wheels. The guy told me 10g's for the set. I think it was a Tunerworks car.
