Damn i used to skate way back when like in the 90's Roces majestik 12's and when k2's always broke the ankle rivets and oygens were like tanks.

brndck
06-27-2008, 01:25 PM
dude i have a set of those tanks buried in the garage somewhere!
the new m12s look pretty dope, but roces were always too narrow for my feets!

brndck
06-27-2008, 02:14 PM
ya hb high is only a half mile from my house but its always super packed with grommie twig flippers. i've been to one park in lake forest, the one next to the outdoor hockey rink and its cool, but there's never anyone else on inlines any time i go to a park. i don't mind skateboarders but its way more fun to session with rollerbladers.

CusCo_S14
06-27-2008, 02:19 PM
ya i think there both skateboards parks. theres the one in Laguna Hills by the High School, one on Lake Forest Rd. (Etnies Skate park) and i believe another on in Aliso Viejo on Alicia Pkwy across the street from the Gov. building (Immigration)

Theres a skatepark in Santa Ana called Centennial Skatepark. If you ever get a chance you should hit up that spot. Its mainly skateboarders but ive seen more and more rollerbladers and bikers. That skatepark although has rules you have to wear a helmet and knee pads but no one does. When park ranger comes though (sundays) you gotta roll out lol. The place im talking about has an 11 stair, 4 stair, a lot of ledges to skate, a pyramid rail, a 2 stair, a big 2 block(thats what everybody calles it there), also a 7 stair, The ground to skate/rollerblade/bike is super nice and is a great place to do that.

I have a friend who does some aggressive stuff, he lives in Mission Viejo. He's also my co-worker. I'm sure he's game for another inliner to kick it with. Stop by my work one day. :D lol

ya i've been rollerblading since i was about 12-13, the park by hb high is about a half mile from my house and i've checked it out a few times, but its always packed with grommies and its fucking tiny. i've gone to the one behind the oc fairgrounds and one on alicia parkway, as well as the vans at orange. cool spots but there's never anyone rollerblading there.

Isn't there like a hate on inliners from skaters? That's at least what I've been told. lol

Most skateboarders I run into do tend to be cocky son of a bitches that need a good smack with a 2x4 in the face, but that's just the ones I run into. haha

brndck
06-30-2008, 08:17 AM
ya theres been hate from them for years. but whutev. most of em just mad dog you but won't even say anything.

06-30-2008, 10:04 AM
meh i blade with boarders.. theyre fun to skate with.. at the parks over here they either just mind their own business without the doggin, or theyre hella nice and just talk to you.. all about the respect given.

ya i know a shit ton of twig flippers and i have no problem with em at all, but theres always at least one or 2 dudes who think they're badasses and try to either snake you or talk shit. funny thing is its usually dudes who r horrible at skating.

fruit booters!

lol... my little brother used to Blade... and I used to watch his blading videos with him. He liked pros liek Aaron Feinburg and... (thats about all i can name). The videos are crazy...

but a year later I convinced him to skateboard, lol. Besides, skateboarding seemed more accessable... I mean, you can walk inside fast food places without them telling you to take off your skates.

brndck
06-30-2008, 11:13 AM
ya but i has a car. so i don't hafta actually skate to places. but there were years and years where the only transportation i had was either rollerblades, feet, or the bus. skateboarding is way more accessible and much more widely accepted, but i prefer my fruit boots any day. (except when i'm going to the liquor store across the street, then i take the longboard).
