well the ka is capable of holding high numbers in the boost range, do a search through any of the sites and youll find your answer, there are plenty of threads that have numerous pages of info
try freshalloy.com less chat more technical or 240sx.org

Everyone argues about which is better, but no one THINKS.
It MAINLY depends on what 240sx you have!
(And how much $$$ and resources/skills to swap an engine versus slapping on a kit- to some degree.)
I don't blame a S14 240sx owner putting a turbo kit on it- the engine probably has less miles. Swapping a SR might not be cost effective cuz the engine is reliable.
I don't blame a S13 240sx owner for swapping in an SR20DET the engine probably has 100,000-200,000 miles on it. Turboing an old motor is not wise cuz that motor=dead.
So in the discussions you hear:
1 guy with a 1998 with 50k miles arguing about the KA-T.
1 guy with a 1989 with 150K+ miles arguing about the SR.
They're both right, but neither has an open-mind.
Hope this helped.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
Makes sense....kinda... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>
I'm in between where I'm a S14 owner with high miles that wants to swap for a SR.
It really comes down to how much you know about the engine and how much your willing to spend.

thats how i always looked at it James. cuz for my motor, it has about 265,000km (about 164,000 miles) and in my case, it would be better to get an sr20 cuz most likely the sr would have waaay less mileage on it.
GT SpecR.... whos that girl on your sig? shes gorgeous!!!

That is the way I have always thought about it.
