my silencer rattles at certain rpm's, it's super annoying. this exhaust is temporary until i get something fresh, but an idea: could i wrap the tube part of the silencer that goes in the muffler with fiberglass mat? it wouldn't burn, would it?

Shouldn't burn that far from the motor unless you pop flames.

You could do what i did and drill another hole and add another bolt.

Wrap it in some SS wool.

Weld it lol

You could try flairing the edges of the silencer so it wedges itself in there

no i want to use the silencer while i'm driving this car around. i haven't driven this car regularly since i was 20, and... i think i grew up or something because i can't stand its deafening roar.
