You do realize that the manpower for that program is provided via already incarcerated convicts right? It's just prisoners, who already work on projects for the state, going to work in camps for the military if needed, hence "Civilian Inmate". Someone who is already incarcerated within the civil prison system. They're not coming knocking on doors of free civilians and hauling them to military work camps. :loco:

This is nothing new.
The military already has a prison system. They use the prisoners for work details all the time.

Exactly. Program was founded in 1997 IIRC, then underwent some changes in 2005.

Depends on the charge.. having a joint? yeah prison is enough. Killing your whole family, -- probably should be out digging trenches or moving around ordinance or whatever they do for the millitary.

Oh, I hear ya. Both my parents were in the Military and they hated it, especially my Dad.

So prisoners could be used to work on military camps?
I don't see the big deal, I think they should still be out building railroads and stuff.
Seems like it would cut down on criminal activity inside prisons (give them something to do) and get some shit done that no one wants to do.
Or did I totally not understand that thing?

honestly i know i'm kinda new to this forum and probably shouldnt say this...but sillyvia13 you're propaganda/ron paul bullshit/fairy tale govt out to get me/hippie/psycho bable bullshit is really really annoying. i understand its a forum dude but do you really have to pollute with a thread every time you get one of your conspiracy theory chain emails. i mean i could understand it if you kept them all in one thread...but is it really necessary to have a bunch of threads that seriously all boil down to political propaganda? (no offense)
