This is on a stock redtop w/ boost controller, FMIC, intake, walbro 255

So Ive noticed my AEM wideband is spiking to 16-17 when I accelorate, then quickly levels out to 13-14, which when I searched is still kind of unsafe. I am going to check the plugs and replace my fuel filter tomorrow just to check things off the list. I also am running at 12psi.

The motor runs strong and accelorates smothly. I do have a hole in my flex pipe that im getting fixed soon but sinse the O2 sensors are before the leak I wouldnt think it would cause the "lean-ness".

Anyone have this problem before?

How are you adding more fuel since you have turned up the boost?

With a FPR.

I turned down the boost and ill play around with it tomorrow. I just was never getting that spike + high level and thought my o2 may be going bad. Checking to see if people where getting readings like that because of a bad sensor or not

hey, Mr cool skater dude, go shit on someone else's thread

I'm not sure why you're now seeing leaner mixtures, but using an FPR to ensure there is more fuel is not the best way. I would spend some money on something that will let you adjust the actual pulsewidth, even if its an SAFC.

Are you seeing these AFRs with the boost down? If not something is wrong as far as fuel delivery.

I really didnt get on it on the way home but I did notice on the freeway just giving it a bit of gas, maybe boosting to 4psi, it was still jumping up for a second.

Yeah, i know about the FPR. Im in the process of saving enough play money for EM.

vaccum leak??? have you checked vaccum leak?

and stock t25 with 12 psi is still in the safe range, shouldnt have any problem with it.

I have not. I did a quick visual under the hood but when i noticed the problem, it was getting dark. Ill check for leaks tomorrow. thanks

A vaccum leak will become a boost leak once the turbo starts doing its thing. Since metered air is escaping without the computer "getting the memo" the a/f ratio becomes richer since the injectors are still delivering fuel for the measured intake of air.

tgd89- the extra fuel delivery is handled just fine by the MAFS.

since you didn't "get on it" your ratio numbers seem to be fine. The ratio will richen as load increases. cruise in second at about 3.5k and you should see the numbers drop.
