It all depends on how you want to wire it up. u can wire it to turn on with cluster lights, its a two wire hook up, ground and any power wire.

not super bright unless you change bulb to LED. you can hook it up to your dome lights, or direct wire to hot wire so its always on. however you want to do it is up to you. :)
