Is there a true performance upgrade to go 5 lug?...or is it just for wheel diversity?

You could rock different kinds of brakes without having to drill the rotors to 4 lug? Other than that, it's just different rim choice.

Some people will claim it's safer to have one more lug, and that's true, but completely negligible for 99% of 240SX drivers. The rest of the posters in this thread have the right idea.
