Hey guys,
Was wondering if I can pick your brains. My blacktop Sr is stumbling upon acceleration when the throttle is open more then 75% of the way. The car is fine and boost pretty hard up till then. When it is completely open then it stumbles and gets jerky anywhere in the power band. Any ideas?
Thanks

TPS seems to be fine. The engine idles fine. Accelerates fine under normal loads from a complete stop to red line. Idle is fine after any type of acceleration. It only stumbles when opening the throttle more then 75% of the way when I am trying to boost hard. Besides that it runs perfectly fine.

sounds like a boost leak. granted you can build up boost fine and such, but a small leak can throw off air fuel ratios and make it run a bit rich causing it to stumble.

Yeah man u defiently got a leak somewhere. More than likely its either the intake or the exhaust inlet/outlet. Save yourself the trouble and do it right the first time and go ahead and replace all the other gaskets and or bolts etc..:boink:

I know this is a late reply, but I found that my tps was bad.
