Be patient, save your money, buy what you want instead of settling for what you can afford right now. You'll be happier in the long run.

if you buy cheap parts you get cheap parts 99% of the time. i bought a turbo elbow that is supposed to fit for the sr's in the s13 and not hit the steering arm. and it does. plus the machining on the inside of it looks like shit. and the divider in the middle does not fit into the turbo. biggest p.o.s. i have ever bought in my life.

save your money for the real and good shit.:werd:

Depends on the brand you buy on ebay. Energy stuff is good.

yea energy is real good, not all stuff on ebay is bad, but all the good stuff on ebay is name brand and all the bad stuff is fabbed up by Import Customz.

look around, you can find an energy bushing kit for less than the "buy it now" price on ebay.

Just buy directly from energy... www.EnergySuspensionParts.com I dont think they charge for shipping so its cheaper in the end.

What if they're Whiteline, Prothane, or ES?

Not all parts sold on Ebay are knockoffs. A lot of vendors sell name brand stuff all day long.

prothane is good shit too. you get three sizes with there swaybar bushings :D

Whiteline or ES is about all I would chance using.

As far as exhausts go...hit or miss. When I bought my s14 from this shop that was closing down he threw in a NIB skunk2 3" stainless cat back exhaust for free just to get it out of the shop (skunk2 and megan are pretty common ebay brands).

It ended up being probably one of the nicest exhausts I have ever seen (with the obvious exceptions of the uber jdm and titanium stuff). Welds look like stacks of dimes all the way around, flanges are tapered (I guess to reduce wind resistance), all gaskets and hardware included.

It fits perfect and slants out the rear just like the JDM stuff. Great tone too. Would I have paid for that on ebay...probably not. But you can get lucky sometimes and find something quality. The megan and skunk2 stuff is decent for the price.

if you are looking at energy suspension shoot me a message i can make a deal on them, i have a few sets here in the shop. The are reasonably priced, its the labor to install them that adds up, unless you do it yourself.

never buy no-name brand bushings. The bushings alone are cheap, but the labor to install or amount of time to install is not worth redoing.

lol wtf. its almost hard to fuck up bushings.

PROTHANE is fine too,not a cheapo company. i used to run prothane tc bushings.

shit was cool.

AAAAAA+++++++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

i bought my subframe spacers and exhaust off ebay. dirt cheap.

with exhausts...piping is piping. 3" = 3". the only problem with my ebay exhaust is it rubs on my chassis a little if i hit certain size bumps. that's it, and i live with it no problem.

it performs just as well as any other exhaust.

with ebay parts, only buy stuff that doesn't have moving parts. this is what i've done, and have had no problems.

(skunk2 and megan are pretty common ebay brands)..

Skunk2 is not an ebay brand. they are legit and make some great stuff for civics. Neither is Megan Racing(MR as its often called). Like projectRDM said, not all Ebay auctions are of knockoff products.

As long as you know what to look for and what to ignore on ebay, you'll be fine.

I've bought plenty of things off of ebay.

ES Hyperflex kit for $75/shipped.

Up Garage catback for $160/shipped.

Just browse and you'll find the name brand stuff on the cheap.
