Wow, ya this is a sad turn of events. Anytime someone dies in motor sports it very unfortunate. Prayers for his family.

to me, joking about someone who dies in motorsports is liek u keying my car. its not at all funny and i will seriously slap you in the face. whether its drag, time attack, drift, rally or whatever, it's not a topic to be taken lightly. we're all here to enjoy motorsporst. respect those who've lost their lives in pursuit of their goals/dreams.

im not sure how many of yall have seen the the track.. but i would have to say they really need to extend the shut down area.. and add to the 5 foot sand pit.. im sorry but 5 foot of sand isnt going to slow down a 200mph bullit. but this has been on average of 1 topfuel (funny car/dragster) driver a year dying.. its an extremely sad day for the NHRA crew.. and i will probably have to say that they will have to lengthen the shut down area at Englishtown and they should probably set a spec that all tracks should either meet or exceed before they allow the topfuel classes to run.

watching that video gave me chills. it felt weird watching it and knowing that you just watched someone that you have seen before die. i've seen him at the races here in san antonio before and its sad to hear everytime something like this happens in motorsports. prayers go out to his friends, family and fans.
