got three myself.....oldest to newest it goes: remington model 597 .22 semi auto rifle with barska scope, beretta u22 neos 6" barrel .22 pistol semi-auto with bsa red-dot scope, yugoslavian SKS with attached bayonet 7.62x39mm.

the 22 rifle is pretty much your standard black synthetic 22 rifle with scope. the beretta is a neat gun, looks extra futuristic with the red dot on there. it comes with a weaver mounting rail so its easy to put accessories on it. the sks, ive only had for a little while and havn't actually shot it yet. but all sks' are pretty much the same.

i myself don't own my own guns, i wouldnt mind owning a couple, but it gets expensive to play with em. my uncle works at a range/gun store and takes me a randomly to shoot his guns for free.

i'd like to get into it, i saw this auto rifle that held 10 bullets only for the CA model and to load it you'd have to take it apart. i believe police are the only ones that have it without the block plate so you could load and unload the gun without taking it apart and use a cartridge . i forgot the model of the rifle, but that thing was BADASS.

i just dont see myself putting down all that much for something i would barely use. maybe when i get a little more money stable i'd pick one up

yea it was expensive
but it was also priced well

Good choice AR15 was a great tacticle rifle to buy I love mine, there is lots of parts and up grades and endless shooting combos, either short, long, fast or slow shooting. You'll love it

Laws have changed. You can have an ar15, ar10, ak, hk91, etc. as long as it's an off list receiver. If it has a pistol grip, you can't have a detachable magazine = get a "bullet button" release. But you can only put 10's in. Or you could get a monster grip (eliminates the pistol grip by spanning the area between the grip and stock) and then you could have detachable mags, 10 rounds or more.

For better info, go to calguns.net

Hanging it up on the wall when your brother comes home is one thing. I wouldn't store it there. I wouldn't flaunt the fact that you own it, otherwise it might disappear, trigger lock and all. Stash it somewhere out of sight. Think of it as keeping your car in a garage v. on the street. Advertising to thieves is a bad idea.

I've got:

s&w 44 mag w/10" barrel & rossi grip
ruger mini 14 w/ folding composite stock
glock 40 cal

Damn I love guns. The 44 has a ported barrel and kicks straight back instead of firing three shots and the whole gun being above your head.F';/*ing hand cannon.

I used to have an AR-15, bought by my gramps at a gun show, and then California law changes (maybe 10 yrs ago) told me I should sell it. Got $2k for it, unfired :)

Now I have a SW40VE, .40 Glock-copy basically, with Federal Black Talons for people-shooting and a couple boxes of Winchester target rounds for paper-shooting left. I don't feel comfortable anywhere without it. Since I moved counties I don't think I'm eligable for a CCW permit, but I'll try again once I get my ass in gear (or once I get car-jacked).

Had a CCW permit in VA, carried (mostly) illegally in IL when I was there, and only pulled it twice in my life. Stopped my bike from gettin jacked once though.

I had a pic I took for one of the other gun threads... taken late one night lol

I have weapons.

But there is no one on Zilvia that needs to know what they are.

No sense in bragging and showing pictures, only to have some one knocking on my door when the Government decides to enact some laws.

Something a few of you may want to keep in mind.

I have a HK USP .45......

Planning on picking up something else in August...not sure what....most likely a 9mm since ammo is cheap and the gun will probably be a range whore anyway...

O hell yes, I shot one and it was awesome.

I am too young to own any kind of gun, but I enjoy them very much. To the OP, AR15 is a great choice, first gun I ever shot. It was SOOOO easy to shoot. Heres a list of whats around the house.

Exactly!!
Why post the guns you have...only to make you a target.

Had a buddy who got his house broken into when he was outta town. Stole the entire safe, and the damn safe was 800 lbs empty.
I think it's an inside job (someone who knows him).

Whatever the case, I got enough to stop someone.

i own a taurus 1911 .45, and my issued weapon is an m4 or a dmr (modified m14). honestly though i'm prob selling my 45 because owning a handgun isnt really all that cool anymore and the concealed carry permit isnt really worth a damn anyway.

It's the same as some people not posting their car on forums or go to meets because it will cause unwanted attention.

Not all thieves are retarded, and they know what to look for. You think they only steal cars from forums?

The black market for guns is probably more valuable then the car market.

I also have the M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine. Love that gun. Loud as hell and kicks like a mule. Along with that I have a Walther P99 QA, Beretta PX4, and not too long ago I sold a Mossberg tactial 18" barrell w/ pistol grip and collapseable shoulder stock. Next will be XD 9 or 40 subcompact

Car ownership and gun ownership go hand in hand.
