I Have a s14 dash in my s13. And i had a spare s14 cluster laying around. I decided today since i had some free time i would see if the s14 cluster worked in a s13. So i'm listening to the cd player in the car as im swaping cluster. I hook up the s14 cluster. Turn the key nothing works. So i swapped the s13 cluster back in the car. As i swapped the cluster back in the radio shuts off. Now the clock on the cluster dosent work and the radio dosent work. i checked the fuses and the relay under the dash. Anyone had this problem befor?

Electrical work + Not disconnecting battery = fail
Try all the relays under the hood and fuses under the dash with a continuity tool, don't just visually inspect them or you might miss a blown fuse. It definitely is in the main power wiring because more than one component is not working.

if you were listening to the radio while hooking those up. pull your VOM/DMM and check see if your battery was drained
