coudl be the seat and its age, or it could be your body (depending on your build/weight). should just go and get some s14 seats and fix that problem.
sorry to hear about your troubles! probably the seat being old and crappy.

I have an 89 with no seat troubles whatsoever *knocks on wood*, then again, it only has 165,000 km on it (105,000 miles).

This happened to me on my 90 hatch. I just took it to my uncle and had him weld it, and had him bring the lumbar supports in closer for a tighter fit. Held up real well too.

why does everyone prefer the s14 seats... i mean theres no problem with them, they are nice but i like the s13 seats better. they are more race friendly.. hold ya tighter personally

yea i think i should have some1 weld it, the only place i can think of is the muffler shop that did my exhuast.
how much do you think it will cost?
- and i think S13 seats are more "racey" but you know race and comfort are never used in the same sentance so they feel like crap..

Hey i have a 90fb and my front seat broke twice, at both bolts that allow the seat to recline. All i did was take an 1/8 in. steal plate and put some new screws through that. No welding necessary so there is no danger in catching your seat on fire. It has held up for about 8 months now. It was broken when i got it and the guy took a few hundred dollars off the asking price because of it. It didnt cost me anything to fix it
