Anyone heard or have any exp with these? Ran across them on frsport.com Stage 1 offering 256/intake and 264/exhaust both with a 10.5mm lift. I tried to search, but noticed most people run the BC cams and hks.

i have those cams on my s14sr.

got em from 240sxmotoring.com

i like them. pulls harder once you hit about 3.5-4k rpms

and no rough idle, my idle vac is went from like 20 to 18, no problems

It is trust or grex, greddy is not marketed as the cam company. Overall probably pretty good as one of the more trusted companies in Japan. Look for trust cams....

Stage 1? You talking about the Easy Cams? I have a friend with them on his evo. Very nice idle and low end. Top end you can't tell vs the HKS/BC.

I have been considering these for my sr as they claim to be drop ins with no springs needed.

i don't know if they perform great or not but for the price $275 a set is very interesting.

who sells them for $275? frsport has them for $475 for s14/s15 motors. and i think $237 a piece for s13's

They are the easy cams for s14/s15 motors. Just trying to figure out which way to go. I've been reading and see that most people run the BC stage 2 264 cams. And from what I know stage2 cams all need valve springs/retainers which I don't really want to change.

WOW that is cheap.. too bad the price is for s13s

You'll get away with a higher redline with stock everything, cams with no springs is bad news.

Greddy Cams are probably made in china, wouldn't be surprised if most of their lineup matched with Brian crower specs.

I'd really go with Poncams over these.

Comments on the JWT C1 cams ?

That's a great deal on Greddy cams. I'd probably just go with BC 264's, and take the bigger intake cam unless I was trying to spool up some massive turbo.

JWT C1 cams are recommended for 400+hp stuff... really aggressive lift IIRC. Definitely need springs/retainers to run them. Codyace runs S4 cams in his 400whp S14, not C1's.

Im currently runnin the stk block with ARP fasteners(New bearings) and ported head with a GT2835R turbo, Tomei manifold and Nismo head gasket, Tomei RAS, Nismo 555 injectors. I have a JWT ECU and Ben from JWT Reccomends the C1 cams. Ill be close to 400hp on high boost.

IMO, Toda is the way to go. The 264's with 10.5lift feel great! They have a little change in idle, but nothing major...

so which ones can you run with stock internals and which ones would require you to upgrade things such as spring, retainers, etc...?

*internals* to me means bottom end. Changing head stuff out is easy/cheap (by comparison).

Technically, anything with a 10.5mm lift "should" be safe with stock springs. Stock redline = stock retainers, above 7k I'd like some aftermarket springs and retainers.

Over 10.5mm lift, definitely get some springs.

Shit, peak performance and BC valvetrain stuff is cheap as hell. The tuning will cost you more than the parts.
