Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of rims for the 240. I'm thinking 17's would be perfect, and I think I might go with the Racing Hart M5 Evo's. What do you guys think of em? Any others you think would look great (non-rice)? Also, could someone please clarify what size tires, offset, etc. are options? Thx a lot.

What car do you have? What is the width size of these rims?
The width size can help on what size tires to get, maybe 235/40, 265/40 or 215/45 series tires.

95-96 240SX. 17 x 7.0 (does 7.0=7 inches wide?). Thx again.

OK....I have no idea what the offset is on those rims, but 7" is not ideal if you want the rim to be flush with the fender. But hey its your money <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> . As for tires size I would go with 235/40/17.
Anyone else have suggestions?
Yes, I have a suggestion... that is I would suggest NOT putting 235 tires on a 7" wide rim. Match the rim properly and put some 215s on it, don't go wider than 225.
Go with wider rims, at least 17x8.0... "ideal" tire size for 8" rim is 235, but you can go 245. And yes, 17 = 17" and 8.0= 8"
Another suggestion would be to ditch the RH M5s, they're too fancy shmancy looking, and don't look good (IMO) on S-chassis cars.

Adey, thx for the reply, I like the look of them, but I'm open to suggestions. What other rims would you suggest that look similar?

I've been looking around, and I like the look of the Volk Racing Daytona Speed. They're 17x9. It says they're +18 +38 +46 offset, which do I need? What does it mean?
Reading my previous post, I sounded a little harsh. You can, by all means put a 235mm tire on a 7" wide rim, just expect it to bulge, and expect a lot of sidewall flex when taking corners. I wouldn't run this unless I couldn't find 205 or 215 tires. Heck, I'd put 195s on a 7" rim before I put 235s.
I happen to think that the RHM5 look just doesn't suit our cars. I've seen some Lexuses with 18" M5s, they look better.
Daytona speed F-Zero? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sigh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> expect to pay $500+ per rim for those... They are nice, though.

... I think Volk GT-7 would look nice, as do TE-37, GT-N, GT-C, advan RG, most mesh wheels (in 16" and smaller)...
I admit that it's all personal preference, but RacingHarts... I don't know, I just wouldn't put those rims on my car.
They're too "luxury sport car" for the likes of our 240s. I'd liken it to putting 19" L-Sportline rims on a Toyota Celica...
