I'm moving to Vancouver, BC and can't take the car with me so it's time for it to go to a new owner. Car has 165,XXX miles on the chassis, and less than 10,000 miles on freshly built/machined motor. This car is pristine condition and is in perfect running order. I have put in only quality parts and have been installed professionally (I have the records to prove it). The car has seen very minimal usage due to it being an occasional track/daily driver and has not been molested (rarely ever driven to redline). All parts are nearly new. It is extremely fast, handles like a go-kart and makes a stellar daily driver getting about 24/20 mpg (Highway/City).

This car is in perfect condition and received a fresh coat of paint last week. The car has been professionally dyno tuned to 359.9 WHP at 20 psi of boost. $ Looking for Best Offer $. I am NOT in a hurry to sell this car, and want to see this car go to the right owner. All REASONABLE offers are welcome. Details and pictures listed below.

Please contact me [email protected] if you are interested or would like more information. Thanks for looking.

15k is for a car that's been professionally built, professionally tuned and isn't held together by zip-ties. That's saying a lot for some 240's. The cost of machining, tuning and internal engine parts along cost over 7k. Like I said, I know what the car is worth, and I'm willing to get a good price for it. If you'd like to be constructive and post an offer, that's fine too.

I'm confused about how you have a "divorced" turbo outlet on an external wastegate setup.

And to be honest - constructive, even - you aren't going to see out of the car the money you put into it. Not even close. Not trying to shit on the car or your sale...just sayin'. It looks clean and well put together, though.

1 thing everyone should know.... you NEVER.. NEVER.. get what you put into the car to begin with

I'm not arrogant or naive enough to believe that I'm going to get out what I put into it. If I were, I'd by asking for much, much more. The point I was making about the internals and tuning being over 7k was just to give a relative benchmark as to the amount of care and attention (and money) put into the car's overall build quality. To you, my asking price may seem high and I am willing to negotiate. However, my car is done. I have spent a lot of time and effort perfecting it to achieve exactly what my goals were, and No, I'm not in a huge rush to sell it. So, if my price seems high, then put out an offer that is closer to your willingness or ability to spend. If you're just criticizing to add to your post count, and have nothing worthwhile to contribute, please don't post.

*Also: In response to the wastegate/outlet question: The car used to run an internally wastegated turbo and I later changed to an external wastegate. Since both turbo's accepted the outlet, and since it improved flow, I kept it on. Help that clarifies.

Is that Lavender Frost Metallic? Was it originally that color?

If so, this is a RARE chassis folks. About as rare as 240's come.

What part of VA are you in? I'm up in NOVA, and that car is uber spectacular, I'd be willing to pay 10,000 for it, if I had the money, other than that free bump and GLWS.

Car is located near Fairfax, VA.
No, it is not lavender frost metallic, sorry to disappoint. It's the factory blue/silver color (can't remember paint name at the moment). It did however receive a fresh coat of paint last week and looks extremely fresh.

As for the lack of "show" comment, I decided to to stick with OEM Silvia parts instead of gaudy wings and body kits. Most of the people who win car shows are those with "clean" rides. If that's not your style, no need to flame.

Sorry to disappoint.

Willing to negotiate on price. Ready to hear other offers.

If you're interested, an in-person look is definately welcomed to point out some of the finer details that pictures don't get. Also, test drive/ride can be set up as well. However, for test drives I need cash in hand first: You crash it, you bought it.

JDM sideskirts and stock silvia front end really isnt considered "show". You want to stick oem, ive done the same thing but you have run of the mill body parts, nothing that would make it a "show" car. I live in your area, and around here the car will def not sell for that much. Yes it has a built motor, but its running emanage, Phantom Grip 2-way, Sunpro Oil Pressure Gauge, not the "only quality parts" you talk about that would bring the price up to at most 9-10K. Yeah you say you will take offeres, but starting at 15K is just way to high. Buyers wont want to make an offer when you overprice your car.

I appreciate the constructive criticism/advice.

Just from my experience though, if I start out with a number like the suggested $8k for example; which is a bit low for a final price, but for a hypothetical argument's sake is fine, then people just end up low-balling the shit out of you with $4-5k offers, which honestly, are nearly insulting. Yes, it's an offer, but not what the car is worth. In my opinion, it's better to aim slightly high(to some) and settle for lower, than aim low (like $8k for a fast sale) and end up trying to with people who are start negotiating from $4k or so. The moral is (and I will edit the original post): Looking for Best Offer.

Also, I prefer the Phantom Grip LSD to the likes of Kaaz/other LSD's because of it's feel for non-track/daily driving. I'm not speaking ill of Kaaz's LSDs, but the Phantom Grip was preferred for non-track driving by me after I rode in a friend's car with one. Really nice. As for the Sunpro Oil pressure gauge, it was a replacement for a more expensive unit, which broke. No problems whatsoever with the Sunpro in the last 3 years.

Thank you again though for the comments though. I understand that you are trying to be constructive and I appreciate it.

just curious as to how the exhaust sounds. im lookin to do almost the exact same setup. but bump for a super clean car. i know what you mean by posting a high price cause the 240 community is known for a being a bunch of low ballers. people just dont seem to realize that money TALKS.

Do not trash someone's item they are selling just cause you didn't like it and also do not go in and flame a person because they are asking too much. Use the Private Message to send them a constructive message. You post will be deleted if you cant post anything constructive. Simply do not post if your not interested in the item thats being sold.

This is a warning to all. I don't want to have to pink premie's over some shit like this.

Thank you.

Besides, the value of the car is relative. $12,000 buys you a car with a "baller" status, that's only 4 years newer, has been in an accident, has stock slow 13 year old engine with over 139,000 miles on it, nearly no performance modifications at all, and parts that "aren't installed". Oh, and no mention of professional installation or good mechanical running order. Hmmm, $3,000 more for a car has a fresh coat of paint, all records, meticulous maintenance and over TWICE the horsepower doesn't seem so far fetched now, huh? Oh no, wait. It's "baller" status I forgot. Good luck with the sale!

Car is still for sale. Ready to hear offers.
