Who has one? I just recently bought one so I could finally drive with peace (and also not get tickets starting july) but this thing sucks! Its not even that loud and the other person gets all kinds of distortion from me. I guess I gave bluetoofs too much credit and was thinking Id be able to pass by with the $50 ones. Are the expensive $100+ the only real good ones?

I have a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 Stereo Bluetooth headset, it is plenty loud and clear, and also has the advantage of being able to stream MP3s from the phone as well... I love mine

I have an LG.
I got it because it was the smallest one I could find, and think people wearing bluetooth headsets look like douches, especially if they continue to wear them around without actually being on the phone.

I used it for a couple days, then let the battery run out and it's been in my glovebox since then.

I want the next car I buy to be bluetooth compatable so I can just talk without a headset.

I heard jabra makes a good one. "Military grade" or so I'm told. My dad likes the apple one for his iphone --

I think it also depends on your phone.

I have a motorola h-700 that works great and is loud and clear on my phone, but on my dad's it sounds like shit.

Make sure to wear it, blinking obnoxiously on the side of your head, ALL the time. And, when you actually happen to be on the phone, make sure you talk really loud so that everyone in the fast food line hears your every word loud and clear. Gesture with your hands, too, so we can see and hear you. Fuck, bluetooth owners are awesome.

Sorry, I'm grumpy. :(

Jawbone kids. Wear it in the club. Play with your phone all the time. Fuck the people around you the only ones that matter are in your phone thats why they arent around!

But yeah jawbone in the car helps with the exhaust and old car sounds. Take it off out of the car. Phones are meant to be put to your ear to indicate your not crazy and currently engaged in another activity.

When speaking to someone who is speaking on bluetooth make sure to speak obsenities to them with a smile they will only nod and say thanks.

I just want to find one that works GOOD, mininal distortion and good volume output. Whats the point of having a crappy one that doesn't work good in a car (the ONLY place anyone should ever wear a bluetooth)?

BLUETOOL:

A person who wears a bluetooth wireless earpiece everywhere they go to seem trendy and important. Places to spot bluetools include movie theaters, malls, restaurants, gyms, grocery stores and cars.

Bluetool: Heyyy, how are you?
Megan: I'm great, and yourself?
Bluetool: Oh, sorry Megan. I wasn't talking to you, I'm on a call. Bluetooth.
