Hi,
I just have some question regarding to my S14 SR swap....
Here is a little information before I am gonna ask you guys questions.....
My motor doesn't have a Wastegate soleniod valve, Boost pressure sensor.., EGR, Stock BOV....And, I have no idea that I do need to use them or not....but So far I am not running them....Can these stuffs cause the car not to have stable idle?.....And, do I really need them?....
if it's not that, what is the possible causes?......(Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) works great....)
I tried to do all the basic stuffs like adjusting/tuning the IACV-ACC screw but didn't help......What I am concerned now is the Heated Oxygen sensor!!!!....What's gonna happen if I didn't plug it?....or is it gonna make a rough idle?....
Another concerns is a vacumm line.....since my Blitz Blow-off valve didn't work too......
How did you guys run your vacumm lines?.....from Wastegate Actuator, BOV.....
I run my Wastegate Actuator from hotpipe and BOV from one of lines from the intake manifolds....

I just did my swap a little while ago. I'm not running any of the stock electronic stuff either (boost pressure/wastegate solonoid/etc).
You should check your TPS. With the car running, shove a multimeter into the middle wire and ideally it should be reading .45 volts, but it can be between .35 and .65.
If you don't have a multimeter try unplugging your TPS and IACV/ACCV while it is running (one sensor at a time) and see if the idle changes. If nothing happens when you unplug then sensor you may have a problem with it.
Definitely make sure your 02 is plugged in! Also quadruple check all of your grounds and vacuum lines.

your vaccum lines should be run off of the intake mani pressure. your wastegate to hot pipe should be fine. but dont run them off of the vaccum lines on your throttle body.
prob just cap those off, and since your waste gate is on the hot pipe what are the vacc lines on the intake mani to?
make sure they are capped or used. maybe you have a vaccum leak causeing your rough idle.
do you have a boost gauge? what vaccum does it read. should be around 20 inHg.

From intake manifold, I only links one of the lines to BOV which is on the hotpipe....Other than this, everything is capped off.....
I don't think there is a vacumm leak or anything .....
i don't have the boost guage but I will be getting one soon,....
I need more comment/recommendation if it's possible....

when you put your motor in, did you by any chance move the position of the cam angle sensor (cas) if so, the timing of your car could be off. Check your timing. Hope this helps.

First thing I am gonna do now is trying to find any vacumm leak first....If this thing is done...then, I am gonna start doing something else afterward....And, I actually didn't do anything regarding to the CAS stuffs when I put it in....

Im just finish my swap up. im just waiting for my dry cell battery (BuddyClub). From my intake manifold i have a hose going to my BOV and the rest i just capped off. For my waste gate i installed a nipple on my hotpipe and connected the waste gate to it. I dont have a boost controller or boost soilenoid to it.
Did you check that hose on the back of the manifold? I think it goes to the brake booster?
