welded. unless you have the extra money to buy a 2 way, but that shits expensive as fuck! i had a vlsd for quite a while and they are very unpredictable. sometimes they'll lock, sometimes they won't. and most have a billion miles on them with the original fluid so they might as well be open. the viscous fluid breaks down with heat and age and the diff itself wears out eventually as well.

^^ yeah listen to them vlsd not so good for drifting....1.5-2 way very costly...but there's a solution to this welded diff =]

i would personally go for vlsd. due to a welded its locked completely. wont be so good wen u let off during a turn or w.e a 1.5 locks just rite.

2way is cheating when it comes to drifting

the problem lately is that vlsd's are getting worn out. good luck finding one that doesn't feel just like an open diff nowadays.

i have experienced all of these types for drifting and touges. weld for drifting but not for touge. it may seeem good till you get better and its no good. 2 way for the win if you want to do both

you also have to factor in how much of each type of driving you're ACTUALLY going to do. you say you want to do touge, but when you're honest with yourself how much are you really going to do? and zooming through your neighborhood doesn't count. i think a lot of people would save a lot of money if they were honest with themselves before spending money on mods.

tomei 2way 4.3 or bust
they're like 1000
1000 well spent
welded diff is a beginner thing imo good to learn with but a real lsd makes world of difference

buy a real lsd. that way you can do whatever driving you want to do.
