So habit tells you when yuo turn your key you hear your engine turn on then you know its time to go drive it...this morning nothing happened. =( @ all no dead battery click, no attempt to turn over.. anyone had this before? my battery is connected and well so I'm going to check my connection and current to solonoid & starter just thought I'd hit up the forums beforehand and see what you guys could throw @ me. thanks.

does it click? do the cluster lights go out when you turn the key? if so, it might be bad battery terminals, if it clicks, it maybe the starter solenoid.
try hitting the solenoid a few times with a hammer, see if that helps.

we are working on it right now
we just hotwired the starter and it engaged just fine
i think it might be a wiring issue

Is everything else in the car working? Lights, dash, etc? Check ignition fuse too. I blew one a while ago and it just straight up made the car not work on any level.

place my bet thats its wiring issue.
check all your grounding wire etc, half of the time its that.

KA or SR? SR has a little tab connection on the starter, mine has fell of before and sends no signal to the starter. I put it back on and bent it so that it wouldn't fall off again.

hrm, does it have an alarm?
cause if it does then its probably locking your heavenly door to starting your car. lol.
that happened to me. then i reset my alarm.

Check the electrical contacts on your ignition switch. EVERYONE around here ALWAYS forgets to mention that a faulty ignition switch will not allow power to get to the starter. Pull the steering column cover off & check the electrical switch directly opposite of where you put the key into the ignition. Use a voltmeter & measure current as you turn the key thru ALL positions. Pay close attention to when you get to the START position. The contacts usually go bad after a while & wont allow current to go thru to the starter when you turn your ignition key to start the car.
Anyhow, hope this helps....
