Z33 Power Seats into a S14??

Sooooo... I recently was given (I paid $60 and did some labor for the guy) a set of 350Z Power Seats that are MINT!!! :)

I did some searching on Zilvia and a few other forums and found one or two write-ups on How-To install the manual seats into the S Chassis....

These, however, are power seats. I was curious as to if anyone had installed these in anything other than a Z33???? The wiring looks like it should be strait forward, just one plug with 6 wires, 3 power (for the 3 motors) and 3 ground....And of course the yellow plug for the side cutain airbag...but that's not getting touched :)

I'd like to not have to go into this blind, so any information would be great!:bigok:

Download the Z33 FSM, I'm sure the pinouts though have a single power and ground, not three (one per motor), I've never seen a power seat that had more than one of each. The rest may be seatbelt switch, pressure switch for the airbag, and similar stuff.

You can also find someone who has a Z33 and just test for power and ground in his car, that will tell you which ones you need.

^^^true true^^^. Well i'm going to attempt the replacement today if the weather is nice. I'll try and post up some pics of the completed task once i get the rails figured out :( .

z33 seats sit higher than stock with factory modded rails.
i did it once.. then it went into the storage, olol.

Well i didn't have any time to mess with it today. I'm 6'1" and i have a sunroof in the S14...meaning i have a slightly lower roofline as well...soooooo i hope I even fit in this car after i finish the project :)
