I just had a lightning bolt of an idea!
I'll trade you the LSD for my steering wheel and all the change in my car (probably at least $10 worth)!! How does that sound? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>
edit: Seriously, I think you should keep it and find a pair of output shafts. You can't get no doritos on an open diff! (Or, at least not with FM-901s out back. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh2:'> )

Danny, how about you donate it to me, and I will give you my VLSD.... It's fair..really!
btw, I need your avatar. Hehe. That is funny. All my friends think my name is Dorito. Its kinda annoying actually. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':evil:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':laugh:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sarcasm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sarcasm:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':pissed:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':nervous:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sleeping.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzzz:'>

too bad its not for the s14 and 1.5 way, i think 2 way locks up too much,no? isnt 1.5way best for drifitn and drag? im mainly into drag. so yea. i wanna go with Cusco, but they only do 1 way and 2 way. and cost a arm and 3 legs

Dorifto180sx, make a donation of $730 to the "feed-the-starving-college-wanna-be-drifter foundation" and i'd be glad to donate my LSD to you! heh... i'm glad you like my avatar! took me a while to get it working... if you want the original that i made feel free to email me. i hope i don't get sued...
Silviadriver, the only difference between 1.5 and 2 way is that the 2 way has full LSD effect during engine braking, while the 1.5 way only has slight LSD effect during engine braking. 2 way is better for drifting, it allows you to shift lock and whatnot. for drag it doesn't really matter, since you're just accelerating... and accelerating.. and uh... that's it.
also, if anyone else is confused, i'm just selling the new one.
still up for grabs!

well becuz ur dragging and going straight doesnt mean LSD doesn thelp, it helps lock up and get better traction

silviadriver, yes, LSD helps in drag, but as i was saying, 2 way and 1.5 way makes no difference when you're dragging. if you have anything further, please just pm me.

i posted it but it doesnt show, maybe cuz it was on the old forum (had it bookmarked)
good info from Moto at Club4ag
2 way is preferred by users who want positive and stable LSD action in both decelerating and accelerating. it has a potential to make more initial understeer for those who have problems pitching the car with lack of skill or with suspensions that are tuned for high speed stability. Drifters prefer 2 way because of the more equal locking effect in both on and off throttle conditions.
1.5 is a compromise for those who seek more agressive turn-in as the wheels are more free to initiate turns in less agressive turning inputs. In autocross it might be beneficial as suspension tuning affects the initiation into corners less than 2 way. It offers less lock up in deceleration mode for those who prefer a more stable braking into corners. It offers the same acceleration lockup as the 2 way out of corners.
free bump;
has anyone made you any offers yet?
