I went out to start my car today and when i pushed the clutch pedal in it seemed to feel different, but car drove normal. I drove to work fine but when I got off and started my car the pedal just sunk to the floor.:wtf:
The clutch usually will engage or disengage when the pedal is getting close to being at the top. Now it only will ALL the way at the bottom and it seems to stay there for a second and slowing come back up. I have no leaks and never had air in the line. It is getting to where i can't shift hardly. How do i check to see if its my master or slave cylinder?

have someone depress the pedal inside the car while someone else goes under and look to see the slave push rod is engaging.

master cyl
the slave would leak or not move at all with a stiff pedal if it were the problem

ya... you can get em pretty cheap. like 60 bucks. but its not necessary to do them both anyways.

if you're really that broke, buy a rebuild kit and rebuild the slave.

i called carquest today and got new master and slave for $40 with lifetime warranty. for some odd reason they sold them to me at cost. when i got the reciept it should have been around $70 after tax. no complaints:)
