Im going to buy a short ram air intake for my 93 240sx, I wanted to know which was the best one to buy, the Injen intake, or the AEM intake? Also, sence the short ram is an "under the hood" intake system, could I get the same power gains as these two systems by buying a bolt on cone filter to replace the stock air box, or would that not make as much power as the injen or aem... If I could get the same power increase I will just get the bolt on filter, if not im going to get one of the two intakes, which ever one you guys thinks is the better of the two. Thanks for any help guys.

I'd get the Injen, just because it has the cold air intake (CAI) extension option. Some people say the CAI doesn't do a thing, others say it makes a huge difference.

You won't get the same results from a cone filter on the stock air intake tubing because the stock tubing is less effective. I also think the air filter has to be a certain distance from the MAF, but don't quote me on that.

If you wanna be spiffy, have a muffler shop madrel bend some 2.5" tubing and make a CAI and a short ram. Bolt on a cone filter and find some way to connect the hoses and your set. It will be a pain, but somewhat cheaper. Ask Meowth. He made one.

I'd go Injen though, and get the CAI down the line.
