i just put my tranny back in my sr and now when the car feels like it is in nuetral its in reverse, then when i force it over to first the car immediatly stalls out. i cant find no gears at all and when it is in nuetral it wants to go in reverse. any help any info would help tranny was fine before itwas pulled out and i did not remove the clucth att all. do u think throw out bearing is not sitting right

Same thing happened to me your tranny is done. U need a new one.It's suck in reverse no matter where u move the shifter it's still in reverse

good possibility if its the same tranny. why did you drop it if you didnt have to touch the clutch at all?

Pop out ur shifter u find chunks of metal.

I'd start from the shifter and work my way down. If the trans wans't bad before you pulled it out, it doesn't make sense that it would be f*cked now for no reason. Most likely you messed up putting something back together. Dont just run out and but a new trans, investigate. Make sure the shifter is installed right and there's no visible damage inside that area.

i took the tranny out to replace the throw out bearing caus it was making noise and no there is no chunks of metal. but it feels like something is blocking the shifter. very very odd may be the noise was my tranny and no tob but if u guys think it may be something else lmk. ne1 go a sr tranny for sale

Well tranny is dead trust me.. I have a couple sr tranny's for sale.

Is the clutch operating normally? Did you replace the shifter?

yes clucth is working good and no I am still using my b&m shifter can the tob cause this

Only if you put the fork in wrong and the clutch isn't fully disengaging.
