Hi, I've searched on this topic but haven't found anything quite like my problem.

I drove my car today with no unusual problems, got home, parked it. I just went outside to start my car and take off, but the transmission wouldn't go into gear ((grinding)) and the clutch pedal wouldn't return on its own.
I was able to move the clutch pedal up by pulling it back into place with my foot.

Try 2: I go back outside, look at the clutch cylinder fluid level, (full but dark fluid) and start the car again. This time I hear a loud popping noise when depressing my clutch, and this time it will not return from the floor even when pulled hard???

its possible that the pin that holds the fork to the pedal broke. or fell out.

bleed the system see if that helps.

after bleeding check if wen pushing the clutch does it engage the slave?
if so your master should b still good if it doesnt check master.

if slave doesnt move fork slave kould b bad.

if fork doesnt want to move with good slave maybe throw out bearing fell apart?

and or cluch pressure plate fell off...

but if youc ant pull your pedel back up even with your hands then your master sound trashed.

check ur slave cylinder. iit probably not goin back up cuz that salve isnt holing any pressure. peel that boot back an if there is a lot of fuid, that could be ur problem
