Selling a japanese playstation 3 with 1 or 2 controllers i think...
comes with the most expensive hd cables they got at bestbuy i forgot the brand... no games. i got it for 900$ a week before it came out in the states and its 500$ right now on ebay w/o shipping i want 420$ for it :naughty:

Don't think so, I believe all the ps3's are zone free.

A Japanese PS3 will play Japanese PS1-PS3 games and plays ONLY US PS3 games; depending on the developer/publisher it can also "localize" certain games (like Unnsharted) to Japanese.
I believe that it can also play US Blu-Ray movies.

gaming is region but movies are not, it should only be able to read region2

Only PS1/PS2 games are region-coded.
And if you're talking about DVDs, you're right. If you're talking about Blu-Rays, you're not:

movies are region coded, games are not.
