what do you do for the 4th?

for the last 9years my family and i have put on a firework show. it used to be pretty small, but has grown quite a bit. we now go out of state to get out fireworks, as we prefer the ones that go up in the sky and then explode! which are illegal in my state. this is kinda small cuz half the family will be in spain on vacation. so we got this already:

Same thing I do every year.

Get really cross faded and watch fireworks with some friends. I wish I had a lot of fireworks... People at the beach last year had their gas flap and cap open and were shooting roman candles at it...Smartest thing I've ever seen.

Some people in the beach houses usually put on some impressive home shows before the real ones start.

Well... I WAS going to go to someone's house and chill there, since we're going to do our own cookout on the 5th, since the 4th is on friday and SOME of my family may have to work (not me, of course)... One week before, though, I am going to Carowinds down on the NC/SC state line, and I have been newly inspired to stop and get fireworks from the SC side, we may be setting them off on the 4th AND 5th.

I put up Union Jack's (British Flag) around the outside of my place... let's just say I found later on in the day they had been trampled to the ground... guess the neighbors didn't find it very funny.
